From a Conversation of 2 to a Community of Over 3,000
Ladies Let’s Talk began when a few inspired women in Austin, Texas got together to share the gift of conversation to help refugee and immigrant women improve their English skills and gain confidence in a safe, supportive environment.
Today Ladies Let’s Talk has three women-only English language programs and has registered over 1,500 volunteers and over 1,900 learners across the United States.
Our learners come from more than 90 countries, forming a beautiful collage of world languages and cultures.
Our volunteers share a passion for learning about different cultures and an affection for the wonderfully quirky English language.
Though they come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, our learners and volunteers unite in a shared enthusiasm for learning English and supporting each other's journey toward belonging in our community.
Whether you are a learner, volunteer, or supporter, we welcome you to the Ladies Let’s Talk community and look forward to getting to know you!
