Ladies Let’s Talk (LLT) welcomes English-speaking women to volunteer for our programs. Share your time, your language and our culture and make new friends. You don’t need any expertise except English fluency.

Conversation Sessions: meet new friends online via Zoom. Talk in groups of various sizes, including one-on-one. Topics over the past 5 years of conversation have included cooking, holidays, idioms, and even makeup. No need to commit to more than one session at a time.
English Practice Partners: build a cross-cultural friendship with an LLT Learner. Get together in person, on the phone, or even Zoom once a week for an hour.
Basic English: be a classroom aide to our teachers and interpreter as they work with 12-24 Afghan women who are learning to speak, read and write in English. Need to commit to helping Wednesday-Friday of a given week. Classes are from 9:45am-12 noon and held in-person at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1314 East Oltorf, Austin, TX.
